After graduating with a Bachlor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design, I went on to work as a designer for a number of corporations, advertising agencies and design studios. For more than 18 years I worked as an art director for a major manufacturer of art, craft and office products. During that time, while promoting Conte pastel products, the beautiful pastel paintings I saw, sparked my interest in working with this medium.

When the pandemic hit, I decided to retire and I started working with some pastel sets I had stored away. I set up a studio and used this time teaching virtually, and painting pet portraits for my friends and family.

My hope is to provide to each client, a painting that captures the love and personality unique to their pet.
